Our Story

A Small Community With a Big Idea and a Big Heart

We believe every kid deserves the chance to grow in the game of soccer, no matter where they live. Too often, that has meant long drives to bigger cities for year-round training, quality facilities, and coaches who invest in players as people.

CIFC exists to change that. We're building it right here, for kids in Grant County and beyond.

Every kid deserves the best, right here at home.

So here we are, ready to build the future and give every kid the opportunity to grow and love the game of soccer.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ages do you serve?

Our youth programs are for boys and girls U8 through U15. We also run an Adult Winter League for grown-ups who want to play.

What's the difference between Rec and Competitive Travel?

Rec is fun-first, low-pressure soccer close to home, and everyone plays every week. Competitive Travel is tryout-based: teams practice more, play league games and tournaments across Indiana, and ask for a bigger commitment from players and families.

My child has never played. Where should we start?

Rec is the best first step. Building the Foundation (winter) and our summer Camps & Open Fields are also great low-pressure ways to learn the basics and try CIFC out.

How do tryouts for travel teams work?

Tryout dates are posted in PlayMetrics when they open. Fill out the Player Interest Form and we'll make sure you hear about the next tryout.

How do I register?

All registration happens in PlayMetrics. Use View Open Programs in the How to Join section, create a free family account (or sign in), add your player, and choose a program.

Why do I need a PlayMetrics account?

PlayMetrics is how the club runs. Schedules, team assignments, field changes, and coach messages all come through it, so your account keeps you in the loop for every program and season.

What if the program I want isn't open right now?

Programs open by season. Fill out the Player Interest Form and we'll reach out when registration for your player's program opens.

How much does it cost?

Fees vary by program and are shown in PlayMetrics when you register. If cost is a barrier for your family, please contact us. No kid should sit out because of cost.

Where are practices and games?

Our home fields are at 1115 S. Pennsylvania Street in Marion. Travel teams also play away games and tournaments around Indiana.

What does my player need?

Cleats, shin guards, a size-appropriate ball, and a water bottle. Uniform details are shared when you register.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Cancellations and schedule changes are sent through PlayMetrics, so make sure notifications are turned on in your account.

Can parents help out?

Yes! We're a nonprofit run with help from families, and we'd love volunteers, coaches, and sponsors. Reach out using the contact info below.

Does CIFC have a code of conduct?

Yes. CIFC follows the U.S. Soccer Federation's codes of conduct, and every player and parent is expected to follow them. Read the Players Code of Conduct and the Parents Code of Conduct.
